Exercise is good. Cycling is cheap, easy, enjoyable and sustainable.
One day I'll get a decent bike and explore the further reaches of Hertfordshire. Meanwhile, I sponsor The National Cycle Network, a charitable organisation who are building a growing country-wide network of peaceful car-free routes along old railway lines and canal tow-paths linking many towns and cities.
Anyone who feels left out not being invited to the G8 Summit 2005 in Perthshire, and who really enjoys cycling, might like to check out www.g8bikeride.org.uk ;-) Less intrepid (but nonetheless fun-loving) city-dwellers may like to join up with the Critical Mass.
