Low Stony Bank above Gordale Scar ] [ Gordale Beck cutting a deep ravine |Once up the steep climb of Gordale Scar, an ancient stone staircase leads ever upwards onto the clifftop overlooking Gordale Beck carving its way through the valley deep below. On the far side are the steep cliffs of Low Stony Bank.

Strange mushrooms grow here atop the grassy rocky moors.
