G. K. Chesterton "The Man Who Was Thursday" and "Father Brown" stories [Oxford University Press 1955]
Very funny tale about a group of secret agents named after days of the week, with chapters like 'The Police Chase The Criminals' and 'The Criminals Chase The Police'. Father Brown is an hilarious Irish priest-come-supersleuth. These books are both available online at Project Gutenberg
