Completing each journey adds to the various totals; these points may be used in future drumming and life events. Mathematicians among you will have noticed that the more people who attend a particular Walk, the more points each Wanderer receives, sometimes exponentially so. Bonus points are granted for special efforts above and beyond the call of Duty. Prizes will be awarded for each category on The Umpteenth Walk. In addition, each participant receives a *free* half-kilo of Brown Basmati Rice (while stocks last :-)

Roberto and I were in the lead, having completed the first four Walks (3, 4 and 5 were cancelled), but Jane has leapt back with the 7th. It'll take concerted efforts and good attendance to overtake us, but bonus points can easily swing it. Just because I will (in theory) be present for all the Walks, doesn't mean I'll get the most points; and besides, the prizes shall go to winners in each category. Bonuses can be won for special props, costumes, and achievements, subject to peer-review.
