(enough to fill a few lifetimes! ;-)
The astute amongst you will have noticed that I've not completed many pieces
since my last visit to
Dartington back in the
summer of 2001. This place was a wonderful experience to meet other
musicians, and a real
buzz to have my own music being performed there, but at this point I realised
that I have to get my own
production systems
up and running - it's not much good
being a musician without facilities to record and print out scores and
make CDs (the list is currently endless!). So since then I've been getting
my studio together (which is taking much
longer than intended), and learning to use the tools. My vast
Lake Of Ideas folder continues to grow with new melodic fragments,
rhythms and textures all swimming around, awaiting their time to spawn and
swim upstream. I also play with a few
groups to keep myself awake.
New music is
going online as fast we can edit it!
